Your Access Wristband and Access Information are to be used solely by you. It is your responsibility to keep them confidential and ensure they are used only by you. XF monitors the use of Access Wristbands and Access Information. Suspected abuse or misuse may result in requiring valid proof of identification for entry until the breach is resolved. You may be held liable for any losses caused by unauthorised access using your Access Wristband and/or Access Information where you allowed that use or did not take reasonable care of them.
Under 18s are not permitted to join or use any XF Club.
No animals are allowed in the gym, except guide dogs.
We may change these Terms for a valid reason, such as a change in the law or in regulatory guidance, a change to our facilities, services or opening arrangements, or to make them clearer. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any change that is to your disadvantage takes effect. If you do not want to accept the change, you can end your membership by telling us before the change takes effect. That applies during your Minimum Term too, and you will not have to pay any remaining Minimum Term payments. Changes to your Monthly Fee are covered by "Price, Right to Price Change".
You can end this Contract by giving 30 days' notice by emailing the Crew at your Club on:
Manchester: memberships.mcr@xfclubs.com
You can also email memberships.hq@xfclubs.com or tell the Crew at the Club. Your notice runs from the day we receive it, and we will confirm it by email.
Your membership has a Minimum Term of 3 months, and you must pay 3 Monthly Fees.
Any Monthly Fee that falls due before your membership ends is payable in full, and you can use the Club until the end of the month that payment covers.
Please do not cancel your Direct Debit until your final payment has been collected. Cancelling your Direct Debit does not end your membership or these Terms, and fees still due remain payable. This does not affect your rights under the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Terms may vary for certain contracts, e.g. promotional offers. See "Current Promotional Differences".
If you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms and Conditions, we may cancel your membership in line with "Member Conduct, Suspension and Membership Decisions". We will notify you by email, and the cancellation may take effect immediately. No refund will be given for fees already paid, except where required by law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
You have the legal right to cancel this Contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days end at the end of the 14th day after the day your Contract is made, which is the day you complete the sign-up process. For example, if you join on 1 October, you can cancel up to the end of 15 October.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end. You can email memberships.mcr@xfclubs.com, reply to your membership confirmation email, or tell the Crew at the Club. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
When you join online, you ask us to start your membership straight away so you can train. The Commitment Fee is non-refundable, including if you cancel within the 14 days. If you cancel within the 14 days, we will refund your Monthly Fee less a proportionate amount for the membership supplied up to the time you told us you were cancelling, worked out as your Monthly Fee divided by the number of days in that month, for each day of membership before you told us.
We will make any refund within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling, to the bank account your Direct Debit is paid from, unless you agree otherwise. We will not charge you a fee for the refund.
CCTV is in use throughout the Club. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use and keep CCTV footage.
Arrive on time. Once the class starts, the instructor has the right to refuse entry.
You must always wear appropriate attire and footwear. Shirtless training is prohibited.
If you are unhappy with anything, please tell the Crew at the Club or email memberships.mcr@xfclubs.com. We will acknowledge your complaint and tell you how and when we will deal with it.
You are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately towards other members, guests and staff at all times.
Harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, unwanted sexual attention, threatening, abusive or disruptive behaviour, and retaliation against anyone who raises a concern or complaint will not be tolerated.
These standards apply to conduct within our clubs and to conduct connected with XF Clubs outside our premises, including through messages, social media or other online channels.
Where we reasonably consider that your conduct has breached these standards, we may take appropriate and proportionate action. Depending on the nature and seriousness of the conduct, this may include a warning, temporary suspension of access to the club, or termination of your membership.
Our Crew is trained in Club best practices. Reasonable instructions from Crew Members must be followed. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your membership. Abuse of our Crew will not be tolerated.
There are no Promotional Differences for memberships bought online at the standard price, other than the Tour Offer below if it applies to you. If any other promotion applies to your membership, its Promotional Differences will be set out in writing before you join.
Tour Offer. This is an offer from XTRAFIT 2 Limited at XF Manchester.
Who can have it. If you register for a tour at this Club and we show you the offer on screen, you can join online with no Commitment Fee. We pay the Commitment Fee for you. It is for the standard Club, Premium and Ultimate memberships only. It is not available on the Student and Service rate, which already has no Commitment Fee, or at XF Merry Hill.
How long you have. You have two hours from the time you registered. We show you the exact end time, in UK time, on the tour page and at the payment step. The time is set by our system and is the time that counts. Registering again, or with the same email address, does not restart it. To use the offer you must choose "Join and pay" before the end time.
If you choose in time but finish later. If you choose "Join and pay" before the end time and your Direct Debit is set up within 7 days after the end time, the offer still applies. After those 7 days it does not.
What does not change. Your Monthly Fee, Minimum Term and every other part of these Terms stay as they are. The offer covers the Commitment Fee only.
One offer, one person. The offer is personal to you and can be used once, at the Club where you registered. It cannot be passed to, shared with or used by anyone else, and it cannot be combined with any other discount, offer, code or rate. If you qualify for more than one, you get the one that gives you the lower price, not both.
If we withdraw or end it. We can end or change the Tour Offer at any time. That does not affect you if you had already chosen "Join and pay" before the end time (the 7 day rule above still applies), and it does not affect any membership you have already started. If we have ended the offer, we show you the standard price before you pay anything.
From time to time we may offer a discount or promotional code for use when joining online. One code per membership. A code cannot be used together with any other discount, offer, rate or credit, including any student, key worker or in-Club rate. If you qualify for more than one, you get the one that gives you the lower price, not both.
A code's own terms apply in addition to these Terms: for example which Clubs, plans or dates it applies to, when it expires, how many times it can be used and who can use it. Those terms are published with the code. We may withdraw or change a code at any time before you use it. If a code changes your price for a limited number of payments only, we show you on the payment page, before you pay, how many payments the reduced price applies to and what you pay after that, and we repeat this in your confirmation email.
A code gives you a discount only if our system confirms it is valid and applies it at the time you pay. If a code you have entered is withdrawn or expires before you pay, we will tell you the standard price before taking any payment. Your Commitment Fee is not changed by a code unless the code's own terms say so.
XTRAFIT 2 Limited is the controller of the personal information we hold about your Manchester membership. We process your personal information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, or ask us to delete it, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. For further details, please see our Privacy Policy.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and high-quality environment for all members, guests and staff.
Members are expected to comply with the standards of conduct set out in these Terms and Conditions. Where we reasonably consider that a member has breached these standards or has otherwise committed a material or serious breach of these Terms and Conditions, we may take reasonable and proportionate action, having regard to the nature, seriousness and circumstances of the conduct.
This may include issuing a warning, temporarily suspending access to the club, imposing reasonable restrictions on access to or use of facilities, or terminating membership.
In cases of serious misconduct, or where we reasonably consider that the conduct presents a risk to the safety, security or wellbeing of members, guests or staff, suspension or termination may take effect immediately and without prior notice.
Where reasonably practicable and appropriate in the circumstances, we will consider the information reasonably available to us before making a decision and may give the member an opportunity to provide relevant information or an explanation. Nothing in this paragraph prevents us from taking immediate action where we reasonably consider this necessary to protect the safety, security or wellbeing of others or the safe and effective operation of the club.
Where membership is suspended, the member's right to access and use the club and its facilities will be withdrawn or restricted for the relevant period.
Where membership is terminated as a result of a material or serious breach of these Terms and Conditions, access to the club and its facilities will end from the effective date of termination. Any entitlement to a refund will be determined in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the member's statutory rights.
We reserve the right to decline an application for membership or refuse entry to a club where we have reasonable grounds for doing so. Any such decision will be made reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Use the equipment as intended and follow all posted instructions. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately.
Guests may only use the Club with a Day Pass, when we are offering them. Guests are bound by these Terms and Conditions, and members are responsible for the conduct of any guest they bring into the Club.
You agree to only sign up if you are in good health and capable of participating in physical activities. Consult your doctor if you have any medical conditions before using the gym. You will be required to confirm this via a health declaration (the Studio Waiver) prior to using our Club.
The use and possession of illegal substances and/or training aids are strictly prohibited in any XF Club.
Report any injuries or accidents to staff immediately. We are not liable for injuries sustained while using our facilities, except where caused by our negligence or our breach of these Terms.
Members are advised to obtain their own insurance for personal accident, health, and belongings. XF does not provide insurance cover for members beyond its statutory liability.
You agree to put equipment back in the correct storage location after use.
You are obliged to inform XF promptly of any changes to relevant data (name, address, email address, bank details, etc.).
You will be unable to enter the Club if your membership account is in arrears. Please ensure that there are sufficient funds in your account prior to your payment date. If a payment is missed, we may recover it, together with our reasonable costs of recovering it and any legal costs a court orders you to pay.
The Club is not liable for the actions, services, or omissions of any third-party providers operating on Club premises (including but not limited to vending suppliers, physiotherapists, or independent contractors), except where the loss is caused by our own negligence or breach of these Terms.
Lockers are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Lockers can only be used while you are In-Club. XF has the right to open and empty any lockers that remain locked after you have left the Club. Items removed will be held for a maximum of 14 days before being disposed of.
XF is not responsible for any belongings left in lockers, except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms.
Our changing rooms are separate-sex facilities, marked 'Men/Male' and 'Women/Female'. Members and visitors must use the changing room that matches their biological sex.
The Massage Beds are in the Massage Room, open during Wellness Hours. We thank you for:
Every membership sold online (Club, Premium and Ultimate, at the standard price or the Student and Service price) includes XF Manchester, XF Liverpool and XF Merry Hill, and at each of them the Gym Floor, the locker room and the Sauna, at the times your membership allows. Class credits, Reformer Studio sessions and massage or tanning sessions reset each month and do not roll over.
Simple Membership is not sold online. If you are in a Simple Membership Contract, you are entitled to use the Gym Floor. Wellness Facilities or Classes are not available. You can upgrade your membership up to one day prior to your next Direct Debit.
If you are in a Club Membership Contract, you are entitled to use the Gym Floor and the Sauna. Monday to Friday, you can enter the Club between 9am and 3pm and must leave no later than 5pm. Weekend hours are unlimited within Club opening times. Classes, the Reformer Studio, the Massage Beds and the Tanning Beds are not available. You can upgrade your membership up to one day prior to your next Direct Debit.
If you are in a Premium Membership Contract, you are entitled to use the Gym Floor and the Sauna at any time the Club is open, and each month you receive 30 class credits (including HYROX classes, excluding Yoga Room classes), 5 Reformer Studio sessions and 8 massage or tanning sessions. Classes are bookable 5 days prior. You can use one massage or tanning session per day. You can downgrade or upgrade your membership up to one day prior to your next Direct Debit.
If you are in an Ultimate Membership Contract, you are entitled to use the Gym Floor and the Sauna at any time the Club is open, and each month you receive 100 class credits (including HYROX and Yoga Room classes), 10 Reformer Studio sessions and 16 massage or tanning sessions. Classes are bookable 10 days prior. The Tanning Beds can only be used once per day. You can downgrade your membership up to one day prior to your next Direct Debit.
Student and Service Memberships are the Club, Premium and Ultimate memberships at 20% off the standard Monthly Fee, with no Commitment Fee, for verified students and verified key workers. They are sold online at XF Manchester and XF Liverpool, and in Club at every Club. Everything else in these Terms applies to a Student and Service Membership in the same way as to the standard membership of the same tier.
Verification. Before the rate applies you must pass a check with GoCertify, the third party that verifies eligibility for us. Online, the check runs on our join page. In Club, the Crew open the same check on a phone and you complete it there. GoCertify tells us only whether you passed, which group you qualify under, the date and their reference. What you enter or upload goes to GoCertify, not to us, and we never see your documents. How we handle this is in our Privacy Policy. If you do not pass, or choose not to verify, you can still join at the standard price.
Annual re-verification. The rate lasts 12 months from the date you verified. Before that date we email you and ask you to verify again with GoCertify. If you have not re-verified by that date, your Monthly Fee reverts to the standard price for your tier from your next payment after it, and we tell you by email before we take that payment. If you re-verify later, the rate applies again from your next payment; we do not backdate it or refund payments made at the standard price in between. If you no longer qualify, your membership continues at the standard price for your tier unless you end it under these Terms.
We may ask you to verify again at any other time if we have reason to think you no longer qualify. The rate cannot be combined with any other discount, offer, code, rate or credit. If you qualify for more than one, you get the one that gives you the lower price, not both.
Misuse. If you obtain or keep the rate by a false claim, by using a document or account that is not yours, or by any other means that is not genuine, the rate ends immediately and the standard price for your tier applies from your next payment. We may also treat this as a serious breach of these Terms under "Member Conduct, Suspension and Membership Decisions", which can end your membership. No refunds will be given for fees already paid, except where required by law. Where a rate was obtained by a false claim, we may also recover the difference between the standard price and the price paid for the period the rate applied.
If you joined before 26 September 2026 on a Blue Light Card, Defence Discount Service Card or Student Card membership, this clause applies to you from that date and your card counts as your verification until your first annual re-verification, which we will ask you for with at least 30 days' notice.
You are a student for the Student and Service rate if you are enrolled at a school, sixth form, college, university or other institution that GoCertify recognises, and you pass GoCertify's student check. As with every XF membership, you must be 18 or over. Student Members may freeze their membership for up to three months at no cost: see "Memberships: Transfer / Freezing".
You are a key worker for the Student and Service rate if you belong to one of the groups GoCertify verifies for us: healthcare, including NHS and other healthcare workers; the armed forces, as GoCertify define the group; the police; and fire and rescue. A Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service card is not needed and is not accepted on its own; the check is with GoCertify. The groups that qualify, as GoCertify define them, are shown on the join page and in Club at the time you join.
Memberships are personal to you and are non-transferable, under any circumstances.
At our discretion, XF may allow a membership to be temporarily frozen in exceptional cases such as long-term illness, injury, or other circumstances supported by appropriate evidence. Requests must be made in writing and confirmed by XF.
Student Members may freeze their membership for up to three months at no cost, once a year and for no more than three months in any 12 months, by messaging the Club, by email to memberships.mcr@xfclubs.com or by telling the Crew. No Monthly Fee is taken while the membership is frozen. Time while your membership is frozen does not count towards your Minimum Term. We will confirm the freeze and its end date by email.
XF will do its best to maintain Club opening periods of 6am to 10pm (Mon to Fri) and 6am to 6pm (Sat and Sun). Any advertised opening times that differ from these times will be on a Club-by-Club basis and at our discretion.
XF provides parking arrangements at selected Clubs. These may only be used by you while you are In-Club and in accordance with any other terms of use set by the Club or the car park operator. The car park operator's own terms and charges apply to your use of the car park.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, except where the loss is caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms. Please use lockers and keep your belongings secure.
You agree to enter the Club in a good state of personal hygiene, use a towel when necessary, and wipe down all equipment after use.
All personal training services offered within the Club must be scheduled and paid for exclusively through the Club's designated booking system. Any personal training sessions, coaching, instruction, or related services arranged, conducted, or transacted outside of this booking system are strictly prohibited and shall be deemed unauthorised.
The Club, including its owners, officers, employees, and agents, shall bear no responsibility for any unauthorised personal training, including financial transactions, contractual obligations, insurance coverage, professional qualifications or supervision connected with it.
Members, guests, and other individuals who choose to engage in or receive unauthorised personal training do so voluntarily and at their own risk.
Nothing in this section or the next excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, including negligence in the condition of our premises or equipment.
The Club strictly prohibits any form of personal training services conducted by individuals who are not employed or expressly authorised by management. Any person engaging in, or receiving, unauthorised personal training does so at their own risk. The Club, its owners, and its staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages caused by the person providing unauthorised training. Members acknowledge that unauthorised training is outside the scope of the gym's supervision, insurance, and responsibility.
Do not photograph any other member without their express permission. If you tag or link your picture to XF and/or any XF Club, we may share that post on our own social media channels, crediting you. If you ask us to take it down, we will.
XF can make changes to your Monthly Fee once per calendar year. This will only occur due to changes in market conditions and/or changes in our cost base. We will notify you by email of any change at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can end your membership by telling us before the new price takes effect, even during your Minimum Term, and you will not pay the new price or any remaining Minimum Term payments.
All fees, including Commitment Fees and Monthly Fees, are non-refundable except as set out in these Terms (including the 14-day right to cancel and changes to these Terms and to prices) or as required by law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
The Club Rules form part of these Terms. They are clearly displayed prior to entering the Club. If you cannot find them, please ask the Crew to show you them. Breaking the Rules may lead to suspension or termination of your membership in line with "Member Conduct, Suspension and Membership Decisions".
XF Clubs are a non-smoking environment. This includes vaping.
XF Manchester has two saunas, both open to all members: a Finnish sauna and a Himalayan salt sauna. Both are open during Wellness Hours.
Sauna Rules & Conditions of Use
Only use a Sauna area if you fully understand and agree with the "Sauna Rules & Conditions of Use" located on the wall before entering the Sauna and understand the risks associated with its use. These rules form part of these Terms.
We may at any time withdraw or limit access to part or all of the Club for maintenance, refurbishment, staff training, private events, or reasons outside of our control (including but not limited to fire, flood, or government restrictions). We will give notice of planned closures where we can. No compensation, credit or refund will be due for such closures, except where required by law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Access is only permitted if you are over 18 with the relevant membership. Tanning Beds are located within the Tanning Rooms. Tanning Rooms are open during Wellness Hours.
Tanning Bed Rules and Liability
You use the Tanning Bed at your own risk of the effects of UV exposure described in the "Tanning Bed Rules & Guide". The Club is not liable for illness, injury, or loss arising from tanning bed use, except where caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms.
Only use the Tanning Bed if you fully understand and agree with the "Tanning Bed Rules & Guide" located on the inside walls of the Tanning Room and understand the risks associated with its use. These rules form part of these Terms.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under this Contract to another organisation, for example if the Club is sold. We will tell you in writing if this happens, and we will make sure the transfer does not reduce your rights under this Contract. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this Contract.
This Contract is governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Failure to enforce any right under this Contract does not constitute a waiver of that right.
If any provision of this Contract is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
This Contract, together with the information about your membership and price that we gave you before you joined, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Club and supersedes any prior discussions, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. This does not affect your statutory rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or expense, and its total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid under this Contract. Nothing in this Contract excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded, and nothing in it affects your statutory rights.
Please ensure you regularly review our terms and conditions.
These Day Pass Terms apply when you buy or use a Day Pass at XF Manchester. We do not always offer Day Passes. When we do, the price, the date and any conditions are shown before you buy.
Who you contract with. Day Passes at XF Manchester are sold by XTRAFIT 2 Limited. Our details are under "Who We Are". For Day Pass enquiries, email memberships.mcr@xfclubs.com.
Which of these Terms apply to you. The sections of these Terms about using the Club apply to you as a Day Pass Holder, reading "Member" and "you" as including you: Access Abuse Policy; Age, Training Ages; Animals; CCTV Usage; Classes; Clothing; Complaints; Conduct; Crew Instruction; Data Protection (GDPR) Reference; Member Conduct, Suspension and Membership Decisions; Equipment Use; Health and Safety; Illegal Substances / Training Aids; Injuries; Insurance Disclaimer; Keep Tidy; Liability for Third Parties; Lockers, Use of Lockers; Locker Room Access; Opening Times; Personal Belongings; Personal Hygiene; both Personal Training sections; Photography; Rules; Smoking / Vaping; Suspension of Services / Force Majeure; and General Terms. Studio Waiver. Before you use the Club you must accept the Studio Waiver, which includes the XF Health Commitment Statement. It applies to your visit.
Day Pass conditions.
Cancellation and refunds. A Day Pass is for a leisure service on a specific date, so the legal 14-day right to cancel does not apply to it. A Day Pass is non-refundable if you change your mind or do not use it. We will refund it in full if we cancel your visit, if the Club is closed on the date of your Day Pass, or where the law requires a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you break these Terms. If you breach these Terms, the Crew may ask you to leave, and we may refuse you entry or future Day Passes. No refund is due for a visit ended because of a breach, except where the law requires one.
Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel the Contract within the 14-day cancellation period.
